RevivePix App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the RevivePix app (“App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The App is designed to process images you choose to upload for restoration and enhancement. We may also collect limited technical information needed to operate the App (see Log Data). We do not sell personal data.

2. Log Data

If an error occurs, we may receive diagnostic information (e.g., device model, OS version, anonymized IP, timestamps, crash/performance metrics) via third-party analytics or crash reporting tools to maintain and improve the App.

3. Photo Processing & Retention

  • You upload photos to our secure processing backend. After processing, results are returned to your device.
  • Uploaded photos are stored temporarily solely to complete the requested processing and are automatically deleted within 24 hours. You can manually delete your uploads any time from the App’s “History” section.
  • We do not use uploaded photos for training, profiling, advertising, or any purpose other than providing the requested feature.

4. Face Data

Some features (e.g., AI Restore, face-aware enhancement) may analyze facial regions in a photo to improve results (e.g., sharpen facial details, correct color/lighting).

  • We do not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or identity verification. We do not extract or store biometric identifiers.
  • Face-related processing happens only to generate the output you requested; it is not used for profiling or any unrelated purpose.
  • Face data (within your photos) is not shared with third parties other than our processors strictly necessary to deliver the service (see Service Providers).
  • Retention mirrors photo retention: temporary storage only; automatic deletion within 24 hours.

Quoted statement for app review: “We process user-uploaded images, which may include faces, solely for photo restoration and enhancement. We do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification. Photos are automatically deleted within 24 hours after processing and are never shared with third parties for their own purposes.”

5. Service Providers / Data Processors

We may use vetted third-party processors to host infrastructure, run image models, handle subscriptions, or deliver analytics. These providers act on our instructions and are contractually restricted from using data for their own purposes.

  • Cloud hosting and secure storage (e.g., AWS or equivalent)
  • Image processing/runtime (e.g., AI inference platforms necessary to fulfill your request)
  • Payments/subscriptions (e.g., Apple In-App Purchase; optional: RevenueCat / Superwall if used)
  • Crash/analytics strictly for reliability and performance

All transfers occur via encrypted HTTPS. Where applicable, data may be processed in the EU, UK, or US, subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Security

We use commercially reasonable measures (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices) to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Cookies

The App and website may use cookies or similar technologies via third-party components to deliver functionality and improve services. You can control cookies via your device or browser settings; some features may not function without them.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was provided, we will delete it.

9. Your Choices & Controls

  • Delete uploads anytime from the App’s History section.
  • Request deletion or data access by emailing support@revive-pix.com.
  • Opt out of analytics where available in device settings.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at https://revive-pix.com/privacy-policy. Changes are effective when posted.
